Adultery.. I mean, heart attack.

heard this from the radio the other day.

there was a man who went home, when he heard strange creeking noises from his bedroom upstairs. he rushed up and checked, only to see his wife, naked and sweating profusely on the bed. he then asked, "what's happening?!" and his wife said, "I'M HAVING A HEART ATTACK!"

so he rushed down to call the ambulance. but before he made the call, his son came to him and said, "daddy, uncle's hiding in the closet with no clothes on!"

the man slammed the phone down, and stomped up to the bedroom, and opened the closet. true enough, his brother was in there, naked. he dragged his brother out and scolded him.

question: know what the man said?

"MY WIFE'S HAVING A HEART ATTACK AND HERE YOU ARE RUNNING AROUND NAKED SCARING MY SON?!"

do you get it?

Guess The Answer!

Arnold Schwarzenegger has a LONG one.
Michael J. Fox has a SHORT one.
Madonna DOESN'T HAVE one.
The Pope HAS one but DOESN'T USE it.
Clinton USES his all the time.
Bush IS one.
Mickey Mouse has an UNUSUAL one.
Liberace NEVER USED his on women.
Jerry Seinfeld is very, VERY PROUD of his.
Cher claims that she took on 3.
We never saw Lucy use Desi’s.

What is it?

R-E-S-P-E-C-T

respect. what is it?

according to The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, it's: "A feeling of appreciative, often deferential regard; esteem."

well, for me, i'm not getting enough of that from my friends around me. let's start from my secondary school days.

i've got serious attitude problems since young. i was rebellious and loved to challenge authorities from everywhere; SJAB seniors, school teachers, etc.. but i tried to change it as i grew older, and i believe i did. but the thing is, i still do not get the amount of RESPECT i need. out of school, i used to hang out with these bunch of friends from the Normal Academic (NA) classes when in Sec 4 & 5. everytime we were out, i never get a say in where we were going or eating and things like that. in fact, i get ignored at times. this lead me back to my attitude problems, and soon enough, i decided to leave the pack. i got so sick and tired of not getting RESPECT from them. i hated them for treating me like i'm transparent. no matter how well i treated them, i couldn't get them to "like" me even more.

coming into RP, all seemed fine, until i joined Dragon Boat (DB). i got lots of RESPECT from my DB mates from my intake, but not for long. i did something which was wrong, sub-consciously, and my captains had decided to use that to target me, as a victim; four to five people were involved, but i was picked out to be the greatest victim. they made me punish my DB mates, and after that, life in DB haven't been easy. i've been hated by the whole intake. until now, i still don't get enough RESPECT from them, no matter how much i try to "compensate" my wrong doings. those from DB would think that Christo, Rone and i are like the best friends forever, and i would get RESPECT from them. you guys are wrong. i still get ignored when i talk, i sometimes even get interupted when talking, and the worst thing is, they interupt me by talking about things way off from the topic we're at. even when i'm talking to them about my problems, i get cut off, and they start talking about different things (the exact situation happened when i'm with my secondary school "clique").

i've been a man without respect for a long time. i dont have any close friends around me. Lynnette, not even you. we may be BFFs by name, but we still don't know each other well enough, and don't spend enough time together. i get ignored, neglected, forgotten in everywhere i go. it's not that i don't respect my friends enough, i think i do. but, i'm just doing something wrong. if you guys can respect me more, i'm sure i'll do so to you guys, and vice-versa.

for now, i'll take the first step. I, TERENCE TOH JIAWEI, SINCERELY APOLOGISE TO ALL I'VE OFFENDED (CONSCIOUSLY/ SUB-CONSCIOUSLY). I SEEK FOR ALL OF YOU TO FORGIVE ME FOR WHAT I DID TO YOU. if it's not enough, please look for me then.

anyway, i'm still in search of someone, or a group of people who can really treat me as friends. people who will listen to me when i'm down, help me and provide soutions, or maybe at least try. people who know me would realise that i'm "desperate"-ly looking for a girlfriend. yes, i am. and it's because i know that if i can find one, she'll be able to provide me great shoulders to lie on, great listening ears, great hugs, great company and great love. and i know i'll be able to do so for her too. hey, we're forgetting something aren't we? she'll be able to provide me GREAT GREAT RESPECT.

when will i get this RESPECT i need? i have no idea. but i'll have to wait.

Which Oakley?

i've shortlisted to two different customised Oakley Radar Paths. help me pick one! post a comment or tag on my tagboard! HELP ME PLEASE!

cool orange lens to go along with crystal black frames. the down point about this is that the view will all turn orange with the shades on.

black iridium lens with crystal black frames. the down point would be that the lens will be too common.

AFF Suzuki Cup.

went to the National Stadium to catch Singapore play against Vietnam in the Semi-Finals 2nd Leg of the AFF Suzuki Cup. i was there with Qiplek, Nor, Kia, Fir and his cousins. i rate this the best soccer match experience i've ever had.

we were all excited during the match as Singapore played really well and had many chances. however, the chances didn't convert into goals, while on the other hand, the Vietnamese made good use of their opportunities and scored the only goal of the match.

i was really disappointed, not so much with the Lions, but with the score. i really hoped to see Singapore go into the Finals and lift the trophy. besides that, i wanted to end the 'last' match in the stadium on a good note. i've never seen Singapore lose on home soil in competitions - Singapore started their winning streak since 2002 when they beat Laos.

the fans were great, the match was exciting. it was only the score that silenced the stadium. but i warn the other teams, we will be back. the supporters will continue backing Singapore in its competitions. together, we shall make Kallang roar once again. Go LIONS Go!

photos from the National Stadium

it all ended with the Stadium being quiet, with its lights shining down on the over 40000 Singapore supporters, dejected.

RPDB Chalet.

RPDB booked a chalet the past weekend. it was great fun with the DB mates. the food was great, and it was really fun! thanks to all who helped and came, WE made the chalet possible because of US.

the people who played guitar there made me want to take out my guitar and start playing again.

Weird Dreams.

last night, i dreamt i was standing beside Steve Blake of the Portland Trailblazers. of all NBA players, Steve Blake.

nights before, i dreamt of my mum and she was driving my dad's cab, Hyundai Sonata, very calmly. my mum doesn't even have the confidence to learn driving, and she's driving a powerful car in my dreams.

RPDB Ironladies

screw the "don't wash your dirty laundry in public" logic. i want to comment on something.

can you girls, or "ironladies" as you call yourselves, please inform the team of what you want to do? don't plan for everything and just ask us to pay for this and that. we should discuss as a team what we want to do, and not just you people planning for everything behind our backs. i appreciate the efforts but can't you inform us before making a decision? i think it's very selfish of you "ironladies".

RPDB is a team comprising of guys and girls. we're suppose to do things together, and not separate ourselves like what we are now. the basketball or floorball team can do so because they don't have a mixed team, but we do. us guys may be at fault for somethings, but i think what's happening now is really getting out of hand.

i hope all of you "ironladies" will reflect on what you're doing, whether it's fair for the team or not. and if you've got something negative to say about this post, go ahead, i'm ready for some "shooting action".

Class Gatherings

for those that want to comment about me about my attitude in class just now, go ahead. put my big name in your blogs.

anyway, we're trying to book a chalet for the E54N gathering. i'll tell you why we didn't ask for feedbacks or comments about it because it's not going to work out. people will oppose and all. now, i've always had problems booking chalets and getting everyone to turn up, because there's just too many cliques around the class. you've got the loners, you've got the smart people and those who want to stick with them, you've got the majority of the class, you've got 3 girls that don't want to join the majority because of whatever reasons. there isn't one suggestion or decision that will suit everyone's wants and needs.

we're trying to help to get a gathering for the class. is it so damn difficult to come together as one to enjoy? everyone's got their 'out-of-class social lives', but i'm just asking for 3 days which will be spent together, or at least come for the BBQ. tsk, totally no comments.

Champions

i want to talk about being a champion.

being a champion for an event, the most prestigious event of your sport may be the best thing ever. you may get the best feeling out of it. you may want to show that world and be really proud of it that you, YOU are a champion of the event.

you may be the champion of:
- Wrestlemania, but a loser at Armageddon, Survivor Series, Cyber Sunday.
- The FA Cup, but a loser at the Champions League
- The Singapore F1 Grand Prix, but a loser at the Monaco Grand Prix
- Wimbledon, but a loser at all the Masters Series
- Singapore River Regatta, but a loser at MR 500

Republic Polytechnic Dragon Boat Team managed to claim 4 golds at Singapore River Regatta 2008. but does it mean they'll get everything from the next race, MR 500? it may be the case, it also may not be.

as champions, you tend to get too high of yourself. you may not want to train as hard because you're already the champion and your other opponents, well, their just losers. but to me, the winners among the losers are those who will train even harder to bring down the champions, which is what the current champions have to be afraid of.

it doesn't mean that if you're a champion, you'll stay there forever. you may be at an all time high now, but the table might just turn.

don't be a snob and train like you'll win the next race easily. i've seen people like that, having too much complacency, and train without putting effort. some of them may look like they've train really hard. But the question is, what is their motive of training, and did they put their heart into it? now, i'm not saying that i'm the best sportsman in the world and i put my heart into every single training, but i know that there is no room for complacency.

i've told some people that the as champions, we're the ones that will slack more. i also did mention that the losers behind are the once that train the hardest, because they would want to win even more. it's only the reason why the other teams are catching up so fast, and we're more or less stagnont.

one heart of a fighter is not enough for a boat that needs the mental and physical power of 20 rowers. men and women of RPDB, we've got to do it together so that we'll win more in the coming months or even years. the legacy of RPDB should never die. i say, even if we should die, we'll have to pull ourselves up, and revive into greater fighters. let complacency not take our spirit away, let us remain as the great fighters as we were at SRR 08. we've turned shit into gold, and we'll do it again, TOGETHER.

come on RPDB, let's rock all other races and fight as champions, with the mindset of wanting to win.

Sex

1. When I was born, I was given a choice - A big dick or a good memory.. I don’t remember, what I chose.

2. Your birth certificate is an apology letter from the condom factory.

3. A wife is a sex object. Every time you ask for sex, she objects.

4. Impotence: Nature’s way of saying ’No hard feelings….’

5. There are only two four letter words that are offensive to men - ‘don’t’ and ’stop’, unless they are used together.

6. Panties: Not the best thing on earth, but next to the best thing on earth.

7. There are three stages of sex in a man’s life: Tri Weekly, Try Weekly, and Try Weakly.

8. Virginity can be cured.

9. Virginity is not dignity, it is lack of opportunity.

10. Having sex is like playing bridge. If you don’t have a good partner, you’d better have a good hand.

11. I tried phone sex once, but the holes in the dialer were too small..

12. Marriage is the only war where you get to sleep with the enemy.

13. Q: What’s an Australian kiss?
A: The same thing as a French kiss, only down under.

14. A couple just married were happy with the whole thing. He was happy with the Hole and she was happy with the Thing……

15. Q: What are the three biggest tragedies in a mans life?
A: Life sucks, job sucks, and the wife doesn’t.

16. Q: Why do men find it difficult to make eye contact?
A: Breasts don’t have eyes.

17. Despite the old saying, ‘Don’t take your troubles to bed’, many men still sleep with their wives!!

My Wedding Song... If I Should Get Married.

The Wonder Of You
Elvis Presley

When no one else can understand me
When everything I do is wrong
You give me strength and consolation
You give me hope to carry on

And you’re always there to lend a hand
In everything I do
That’s the wonder

The wonder of you.

And when you smile the world is brighter
You touch my hand and I’m a king
Your love to me is worth a fortune
Your love for me is everything

I’ll guess I’ll never know the reason why
You love me as you do.
That’s the wonder,

The wonder of you.

I’ll guess I’ll never know the reason why
You love me as you do
That’s the wonder,

The wonder of you.

Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (SCSM) 2008

well, went for the SCSM yesterday along with Qiplek and Rone. race started at 0530hrs near the Fullerton. it was no easy feat as we had to run/jog/walk for 42.195km, ending at the front of the Supreme Court and the Padang.

the three of us did pretty well at the first 10km. and we saw the Kenyans twice. once even before we were at the 1km mark, where they were already running down the 5km mark. the second time when we were entering East Coast Park (ECP), where they had around a kilometre left to the exit of the park. back to us, we had stops along the ECP stretch. that was when all the troubles started, well it was me actually. the lactic acid started to build up really fast around my quadriceps and my knee was also beginning to fail on me. so i stopped on many occasions to either walk or stretch. then it was Plek's turn to cramp. and after DRINKS STATION 16 was Rone's turn. apparently Mr Invincible has his crampy times too. his was more serious, swelling of the right quadriceps. but we managed to pull through the whole race, pretty much walking from Mountbatten Road onwards, and sprinting at the last stretch. i came in first, Rone and Plek 1second and 11 seconds behind, respectively.

my overall thoughts of the race. it was my FIRST time running a marathon, or anything this long. i was a burden to the other 2. i could feel that they wanted to go ahead, but they stuck on with me despite all the stops. i felt really guilty, holding them back. and i told myself that if i'm going to run a marathon the next time, i'll do it alone. unless i've got the ability to do it well.

whatever the results, we've completed it. we've got our medals. we've got our finisher shirt. $65 dollars worth of shit, 42.195km and 6hrs 47min 6sec long of nonsense. THANKS STANDARD CHARTERED! and to those who felt i'll never finish the full marathon, I JUST DID. and to those who are thinking right now that my timing suck, i'll like to see you try it and share your FIRST TIME experience with me. thanks!

now my legs are falling apart. my traps are aching like CRAP.

Celtics Merchandise

i've went through the NBA Store online searching for Celtics' merchandises, and i found these that i really love.

nice, plain white polo tee. with the Celts design on the left chest.

i like the plain, simple design of the shirt. looks nice doesn't it?

looks like some junk food tee, and i love it. nice colours too.

once again, plain and simple design. love the Celts colour.

the sexiest of ALL. beautiful white base with gold stripes, to signify Boston's 2008 championship.

for those who have held this, it's pretty heavy because of the emblems of the championship banners at the back. i want this for collection.

apart from all these, i would want the following jerseys too.
Garnett Celtics Championship Jersey, Authentic
Garnett Celtics Home Jersey, Authentic
